Mentoring Spotlight

"It has been my pleasure to participate in the 1L mentoring program for a number of years. I think the program does several things for the students.

First, they get ot interact with lawyers to calm some of the fears that first-year students have. After all, we were all first-year students at one point in time. 

We normally meet at my law firm, so students not only interact with practicing lawyers, but get to see the practice of the law from a closer perspective. 

While the program is primarily intended to benefit the students, there is no question that it benefits the lawyers as well."
