According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation "The Carolina Crossroads I-20/26/126 Corridor Improvement Project is the number one interstate priority for South Carolina." Construction for Carolina Crossroads is expected to take place over five phases between 2021 and 2029.
Landowners can expect to be contacted about the acquisition of their property between now through 2022. SCDOT may refer to 'Right of Way' when referencing the acquisition of your land. Phase I construction is expected to begin in 2021.
