Established in 1984, Lewis Babcock is a litigation law firm with a statewide practice and a national reputation. Led by founding partner Keith Babcock, our attorneys know their way around the court room. Lewis Babcock was one of the first firms in the region to pursue legal malpractice cases and is still a leader in this complicated area of law. Our attorneys have served as advisors to various courts for more than 20 years. Cam Lewis (1941-2017) served as chairman of the Advisory Committee on Standards of Judicial Conduct and argued three cases before the United States Supreme Court. Keith Babcock served as a bar examiner for six years and has been the only lawyer serving on the state’s panel of judicial ethics. Keith has also earned an outstanding reputation for representing real property owners in condemnation and other disputes and is an emeritus member of Owners’ Counsel of America.
